Flight Itinerary (About The Role)

The Corporate IT Team is looking for an IT Support Engineer to join the FLYR crew to provide Tier 1 & 2 IT support. Our ideal candidate will be focused on improving the end-user experience and increasing IT efficiency through automation. You'll not only be tasked with curating an “It Just Works” environment, but to learn, grow, and help others along their journey as well. The ideal candidate will also have great attention to detail and will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

What Your Journey Will Look Like (Responsibilities)

  • Provide top-notch IT support for our office and remote employees
  • Support SaaS applications such as Okta, Google Workspace, Office 365, etc
  • Diagnose and resolve basic hardware, software and network issues
  • Assist with lifecycle management of employee and office equipment (including procurement, repair, and disposal)
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance key services such as Okta and Slack, which includes user administration, group policy management, and end-user training.
  • Oversee Single Sign-On (SSO) and Mobile Device Management (MDM) systems (Kandji and Intune), maintaining security protocols and efficient access management across all essential platforms.
  • Configure and manage Azure Active Directory to support our organization’s identity and access requirements. This includes user provisioning, groups, and security policies.
  • Understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance frameworks relevant to Azure and Intune deployments.
  • Administer IT asset management, maintaining accurate and current inventory records for all equipment, software, and software licenses.
  • Document solutions and technical guidelines in the form of knowledge base articles and tech notes, contributing to the improvement of IT service delivery.
  • Generate performance and usage reports to aid in IT capacity planning and resource allocation.
  • Act as the primary contact for IT support, addressing and resolving user inquiries and issues while utilizing ticketing tools such as Jira and Zendesk.

What To Pack For This Trip (Qualifications)

  • 4 years experience working in IT
  • Experience with supporting macOS, MDM, and SSO systems
  • Self-starter with initiative and a high 'figure it out' factor
  • A passion for learning and having a team-first mindset
  • Excellent communication and prioritization skills
  • Humility, empathy, and open-mindedness
  • Willingness to travel (occasional business trips may be required)
  • Familiarity with remote desktop applications, VPNs, and other remote assistance tools.

Optional Carry-On (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Certifications in relevant technologies (Okta, Network +, JAMF, etc)
  • Basic knowledge of networking concepts (switching, firewalls, subnetting, wireless technologies, VPNs, LAN/WAN, etc.)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Azure, including configuring and managing cloud-based resources (virtual machines, storage accounts, and networking components).
  • Expertise in Microsoft Intune for Mobile Device Management (MDM), covering policy deployment, device management, and data security.
