About this role
Flipdish is looking for an experienced Hardware & Logistics Manager. This role is an opportunity for an experienced ‘hands on’ logistics or supply chain specialist to develop processes within our rapidly growing company. This includes inventory management, stock delivery, hardware and software installation, forecasting, procurement, general hardware support and relationship management with our vendors.
The successful candidate for this role will be looking for an exciting new challenge in a hyper-growth environment. They will feel comfortable managing several external relationships, designing new processes, be comfortable with ambiguity and have strong analytical skills.
In this job, you’ll…
- Manage global hardware operations, including:
- Inventory management
- Procurement of hardware and hardware suppliers
- Hardware orders from customers
- Hardware installations
- End of month stock reporting
- Collaborate with other teams to automate all hardware purchasing and delivery flows
- Build and manage relationships with third party vendors, including 3PLs, suppliers and service providers
- Work closely with our Product team as our hardware landscape grows
- With the support of our Director of Strategic Projects, you’ll implement an inventory & hardware management system from scratch that automates processes
- Build and manage inventory forecast models
- Manage day-to-day hardware and installation orders
- Train staff and customers on troubleshooting methods
- Manage warehouse and inventory at Flipdish Headquarters
We’re looking for
- 4+ years of professional experience, with at least 2 years in supply chain management or similar function
- You have had experience in a fast paced, high growth environment before
- You’re very comfortable understanding terminology such as EXW, FOB, 3PL, Freight Forwarding, EORI etc
- You are organised, responsive, detail oriented and, most importantly, you have a strong bias for action (i.e. you get things done). We are looking for someone who is extremely proactive in their work, bringing solutions to the table rather than problem statements
- You are an exceptional communicator, and are comfortable leading discussions with internal and external stakeholders.
- You are comfortable working with with Excel / Google Sheet files and are familiar with simple formulae including sumifs, vlookup & pivot tables etc
