Job Description

Since inception, we've made significant strides in establishing our brand as a leader in the travel industry. Our efforts over the last year have resulted in coverage by esteemed media outlets such as the New York Times, BBC, and Forbes, as well as top-tier travel publications such as Travel & Leisure and Conde Nast Traveler. In addition, we have successfully forged partnerships with prominent brands such as Samsung and MINI.

As we continue to grow and expand our presence, PR and Partnerships will play an essential role in our brand-building strategy in both the US and UK markets. As our new Head of PR and Partnerships, you will work closely with our experienced agencies to develop and execute creative and innovative campaigns that deliver high-quality press coverage and drive innovative, strategic brand collaborations.

From day one, you will be entrusted and empowered to help us achieve our ambitious growth targets. You will report directly to our CMO / co-founder, who has a strong background in PR and understands the impact it has on building the brand.

As we strive to create one million friends through our travel experiences, your efforts in developing strategic PR and partnership initiatives will play an instrumental role in realising our mission.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive PR and partnerships strategy that supports the company's overall objectives

  • Build relationships with key influencers, brands, and media outlets to create partnerships that drive brand awareness, engagement, and growth

  • Identify and evaluate potential partnership opportunities, including sponsorships, collaborations, and joint ventures

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling campaigns that leverage partnerships and PR initiatives.

  • Manage external agencies initially in the USA & UK

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to seamlessly integrate with the overarching Flash Pack communications plan

  • Support the wider team during crisis situations

  • Track and report on the effectiveness of partnerships and PR initiatives, including measuring ROI and other key metrics

The ideal candidate:

  • You already have an extensive network of media and influencer contacts in the USA

  • A proven track record of securing high-quality press coverage and forging meaningful partnerships with brands and influencers

  • A creative and innovative mindset, with a passion for developing unique and compelling campaigns and initiatives

  • A strong understanding of brand positioning and messaging, and the ability to develop and maintain brand standards across all PR and partnership activities.

  • Experience managing budgets and performance metrics, with a focus on data-driven decision making.

  • A passion for travel and a deep understanding of the Flash Pack brand and mission.

The nice-to-haves:

  • Experience working within a high-growth startup.

Sounds good?

Then join our mission to create one million friendships through group adventure – and a friendly and energetic global team on the cusp of worldwide expansion.
