Senior Data Engineer

Job Description

Responsibilities 

• Hands on engineering and data science coding

• Data architecture and warehousing 

• Working with business requirements to develop product and development briefs with the Head of Product

• Working with leaders within the product team and senior management team to help shape the product and technical roadmap

• Leading data science, recommendation engines and AI

Person specification

Essential

• Saas and enterprise software development experience

• Significant experience in fast-growth environments

• Experience building recommendation engines and/or personalised experiences 

• Understand the fundamentals of data science engineering 

• Experience in complex technical environments involving large amounts of data

• Passionate about our mission and the end user experience

• Good working knowledge of our tech stack, specifically;Firebase, Google Cloud Platform, git, ci

Desirable

• Start-up experience or experience in a small-medium sized product company

• Experience managing a range of people including data analysts + data scientists
