THE ROLEBrown’s Operations Service Management (OSM) team underpins our path towards creating a support model for all Enterprise-grade Clients using our platform. Brown’s is fully owned by Farfetch and today represents the biggest seller in Farfetch marketplace, on top of its own online DTC and London store. Our role is to bridge Brown’s Commercial structure and Farfetch operational teams supporting Browns’.
Of all services provided by Farfetch Operations, we can include most of the end-to-end Supply Chain activities from Forecasting to Freight, Booking and, ultimately, Fulfilment for all Browns’ orders (B2C or not). The smooth running of our Supply Chain, as a service, relies heavily on a tight alignment between Merch & Buying and Farfetch Logistics support teams, such alignment is key to make sure stock flows as smoothly as possible and every exception is dealt with swiftly. Such alignment will include topics such as: PO Management; Product Master Data Management; Upstream Queries; Physical Queries; Supplier Compliance; etc. You will have the opportunity to work with OSM in bridging that relationship between Operations and Merch & Buying, contributing to build an effective framework over which we can be agile, and proactive where possible, in dealing with upstream exceptions.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Maintain visibility over all Upstream activity prior to inbound ie. Quantities on order, On order per process stage; On order in relationship to the delivery window
  • Control and follow-up with Buying teams on PO admin exceptions, ie. Draft POs; Approved Pending Confirmation; Confirmed without OC; Missing EANs
  • Control and follow-up with Buying and Warehouse teams on Queries (Booking and Physical), escalating to management when required
  • Maintain daily cross-departmental communication and develop strong collaboration among team members in order to problem-solve effectively
  • Participate in all key Fulfilment by Farfetch routines providing a Buying perspective and identifying any actions to then escalate to respective Buying teams

WHO YOU ARE:

  • Experience in Merch or Buying Admin roles or Upstream planning roles;
  • Proficient in SQL and Excel;
  • Comfortable with BI front-end tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, other)
  • Turn insights into a compelling and meaningful narrative, through engaging presentations;
  • Persuade individuals to your point of view through use of data and analysis;
  • Experienced or had exposure to areas such as Operations and E-commerce;
  • Fluent in English
