THE ROLEOur Logistic department is searching for an experienced Transports Specialist.You will be responsible for handling and scheduling transportation services. Besides, you should also be able to plan and implement various transportation policies. In addition to this, you should also ensure that the transportation task complies with the company rules and regulations.As part of your job role, you should also be able to verify transportation documents and invoices.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Scheduling timely transportation services.
• Generating and processing transportation and Custom documents.
• Keeping a track of the transportation expenses.
• Developing and implementing policies and procedures for Road/Air & Sea transport
• Overseeing the performance of the transportation partners/3PL
• Handling customer queries and claim, and resolving complaints in a timely manner.
• Coordinating with the Transportation Manager to optimize transportation services.
• Ensuring compliance with the company and custom regulations and requirements.
• Collaborating with internal departments to optimize transportation services.

WHO YOU ARE

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Transport Specialist, or a similar role in the Logistic department of a 3PL company for Road/Sea & Air will be an asset.
• Fluent in Italian & English.
• Advanced Microsoft office applications user (word, excel, power point, access).
• Knowledge of transportation rules and custom regulations.
• Good time management, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational skills, as well as the ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to build strong relationship with cross functional partners.
• Strong Team player.
