CREATIVE OPERATIONSWe're a creative family, building copy, data and visual assets for each corner of the FARFETCH Ecommerce Platform. We are dedicated to providing gold standard imagery, content and production services for our partners and creating an engaging on-site experience for our customers.
GUIMARÃESOur Guimarães office is located in this beautiful and historic city, often described as the 'birthplace of Portugal'. This is where our European Production team is based, in a custom-built office and studio facility which has a games room, music area and unbeatable chill out zone with a hammock that fits up to 20 people!
THE ROLEWe are looking for a Studio's Lead that will be responsible for the management of a Photography Team based on empowerment and motivation of the Team in order to guarantee the achievement of defined goals of Farfetch.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Define and follow up Individual Development Plans with the co-workers;
  • Evaluate workers performance;
  • Identify potentials inside the team;
  • Empower and motivate the team;
  • Communicate to the team the business goals defined by management according to the roadmap;
  • Participate actively and challenge the team for a Continuous Improvement culture;
  • Create and maintain a Quality Culture mindset;
  • Planning the operations during the shift in order to achieve defined goals;
  • Guarantee the communication inside the team and with all the other departments;
  • Work closely with support teams such as Specialists, Engineering and Area Managers on problem solving and business goals.

WHO YOU ARE

  • Leadership capability;
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in managing teams;
  • Ideally previous e-commerce experience within fashion retail - luxury market;
  • Decision maker and prioritization;
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with all teams;
  • Actively listen to others and demonstrate an understanding of different points of view;
  • Maintain a positive, supportive and appreciative attitude;
  • Create an open environment that encourages people to work together to solve problems and improve practices;
  • Interest in personal learning and development;
  • Analytical skills;
  • Proficient of Microsoft Office:
  • Fluency in English.
