THE ROLEWe are looking for an Engineering Lead for our Live Engineering team, who will lead a versatile team of engineers working towards our goals. You will work in a very relaxed environment and be part of a well-motivated, growing team. WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Manage highly adaptable teams for operational focus by supporting business flow needs
• Ensure the team's capacity to cover the ongoing support needed from Live Engineering
• Promote and create supporting models and documentation in order to establish a more organized culture around platform reliability support
• Help the areas to onboard new initiatives to your own teams in order to provide continuous help in maintaining the platform reliability
• Work with the reliability cluster team in order to create automated tools that provide troubleshooting and mitigations to real Live Environment scenarios.
• Drive meetings that align reliability and support focus between different stakeholders teams, such as service management and vertical teams
• Assure your team's health by holding development conversations, understanding people's status, ways to move forward, and evaluation cycles

WHO YOU ARE

• Fluent in applying agile flow metrics in order to help the team have a sustainable and healthy workflow
• An Engineering Lead with a backend development background, aware of architecture and design principles
• Experienced with microservices environments and related principles and patterns
• Experienced with nonrelational and relational databases, i.e., Mongo, Cassandra, and SQLServer
• Used to document your designs, plans and developments and base your communication with others on those assets
• Used to be in an environment where you coordinate different teams and related topics to come up with a comprehensive view of the thing to build
• Experienced with people reporting and development processes
• Fluent in English conversations, reading and writing.
