You can have an informal meeting in the treehouse or play the piano during your lunch break!THE ROLEAs a member of our team, you will join our global systems team and be responsible for the design, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our systems, services, and applications. You will work closely with a multicultural team of talented and passionate professionals based in various Farfetch offices around the world. This is a unique opportunity to exchange knowledge and learn from technology experts from diverse backgrounds.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Ensure the provisioning of new servers, environments, and applications
  • Guarantee the monitoring of all environments, servers, and services
  • Ensure servers and services are up to date with patching
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide technical solutions
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system and application issues in a timely manner
  • Implement security best practices to protect systems and data
  • Continuously evaluate and improve system performance and efficiency
  • Document system configurations, processes, and procedures

WHO YOU ARE

  • You have a degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline or equivalent practical experience and 3 or more years of working experience as a System Administrator
  • You have experience in Windows and Linux System Administration
  • You have experience with Azure and Services like Azure Virtual Machines, Azure App Service, Azure Storage, Azure Networking, Azure Active Directory, Azure Functions, etc.
  • You have experience in managing Server Performance, Active Directory (AD), DNS, DHCP, Group Policy Management, and general server troubleshooting skills
  • You have experience with Azure, G Suite, and Office 365 environments
  • You have hands-on experience with systems monitoring tools such as Zabbix
  • You possess knowledge of troubleshooting solutions for system and application issues
  • You have experience with backup systems
  • You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • You are dynamic and communicative
  • You thrive in a team that believes in "Todos Juntos"You have strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • You are proactive and able to work independently as well as collaboratively
  • You stay updated with industry trends and technologies
  • Experience with AWS and GCP is a plus.
