THE ROLEWe are looking for a talented and driven Backend Software Engineer to join our growing team and help shape the future of luxury fashion. WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Design and develop creative solutions that will enhance the customer experience, working closely with Product, Design and Platform teams;
• Design, build, and document powerful tools to facilitate the development lifecycle, optimizing efficiency and productivity;
• Offer guidance and support to your team members, ensuring the effective use of frameworks and tools;
• Collaborate with Principal Engineers to define the technical roadmap for the Marketplace Web Domain, prioritizing performance, scalability, resilience, and security;
• Address and resolve issues encountered in the daily work, fostering a seamless workflow;
• Advance your technical expertise by leveraging state-of-the-art technologies such as .NET, Redis, Docker, and Kubernetes;
• Act as a mentor and advocate for the professional growth of your fellow team members, cultivating a nurturing and supportive environment.

WHO YOU ARE

• Proficient in object-oriented languages, such as C#/.NET Core or Java;
• Knowledgeable about unit and integration tests;
• Passionate about code quality and adherence to industry best practices in software development;
• Experienced with REST APIs and microservices architectures;
• Knowledgeable in GraphQL (a plus) and eager to learn new technologies and frameworks;
• Familiar with agile frameworks for project management, such as Scrum or Kanban (a plus);
• Autonomous problem-solver who can make informed technical decisions to drive positive outcomes on our platform;
• Curious and enthusiastic about large-scale systems, with a desire to tackle complex challenges;
• Team player who thrives in collaborative environments, fostering a sense of unity and shared success;
• Proficient in both written and spoken English, ensuring effective communication across the team.
