THE ROLEReporting to the Production Process Manager you will be part of a team ensuring that processes run smoothly and efficiently. It involves tracking and reporting on how well things are going, working with production teams to fix any issues that come up, and finding ways to make processes better. You'll be responsible for developing and implementing plans to fix problems, analyzing what's causing those problems, and leading teams to make improvements. You'll also be in charge of creating and maintaining documentation for how processes should be done, training the trainers, others on those ways of working, and continuously looking for ways to make things run even better. Along the way, you'll need to build relationships with different people involved in the process and make sure everyone is on the same page. If issues do come up, you'll be the one responsible for finding a solution and making sure everything is resolved quickly and effectively.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Focus on tracking and reporting KPIs related to process quality, efficiency, and cost;
  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify the underlying causes of process problems and implement solutions to prevent their recurrence;
  • Focus on building incremental deliveries to reduce the resolution time and ensure proper follow-up for long term actions;
  • Lead or participate in cross-functional teams to identify, plan, and implement process improvements;
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for process operations;
  • Train production Trainers on process procedures and spread best practices through the different business units;
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate process performance to identify opportunities for optimization and improvement;
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders to foster open communication and gain buy-in for proposed process improvements;
  • Conduct regular reviews of the process roadmap with stakeholders to ensure that it remains relevant and aligned with their evolving needs;
  • Support the roll-out of Creative Operations Everyday Evolution Model ( our CI Model) and best practices;
  • Ensure effective issue resolution: Drive timely resolution of process and service delivery issues, disputes and escalations and drive incidents, root cause analysis and remediation processes and actions.

WHO YOU ARE

  • Degree in Engineering, preferably in Industrial Engineering, or a related field;
  • At least 5 years of experience in an industrial production environment, preferably in a process engineering role;
  • Strong knowledge of process engineering principles and methodologies and experience in continuous improvement methodologies, such as Lean Six Sigma and Kaizen;
  • Business acumen to understand the impact of process improvements on key performance indicators (KPIs) and business outcomes;
  • Fluent communication skills in English are mandatory;
  • Knowledge of cloud-based productivity applications, such as Google Sheets and Google Slides, as well as experience with collaborating and sharing data in real-time, is a plus;
  • Ability to stay focused, prioritise tasks, and manage time effectively with low supervision;
  • Willingness to take on new challenges and opportunities by thinking outside the box, generate new ideas, and find innovative solutions to complex problems;
  • Ability to clearly and effectively communicate ideas, information, and feedback with colleagues, stakeholders, and team members.
