PORTUGALOur Portugal offices are located in four of the country's most vibrant cities - Braga, Guimarães, Lisbon, and Porto, known for their rich historical background and warm atmosphere. The teams working in Portugal cover all areas of FARFETCH, from Digital Production to Operations, People, and Technology. In our Guimarães and Porto offices, you can experience the latest fashion trends in our European Production sites, and in our Braga, Porto, and Lisbon offices, you can immerse yourself in the tech world!
FPS The Farfetch Platform Solutions (FPS) Team is responsible for developing end-to-end commerce solutions to accelerate growth and innovation for luxury brands and retailers. We operate in a B2B context in close collaboration with our clients and jointly validate the end-customer’s needs in order to deliver the best possible luxury experience that works for our business.
THE ROLEAs a Senior Product Manager in the Platform Discovery team, you’ll be reporting to the Lead Product Manager and be responsible for developing new capabilities, which are complex new experiences that require cross-team collaboration within our Farfetch organisation (such as Payment, Logistics, Catalog, Finance, etc.) and could be scaled on our platform to multiple clients. WHAT YOU'LL DO
- You will essentially lead the discovery phase for new capabilities - which means you will explore and structure complex problems which are new to our organization and relevant for our B2B clients and their end customers;
- Be the client-facing product manager throughout the product development process and jointly make the right trade-offs towards what is in scope;
- Ensure the right level of involvement of the various internal teams that will contribute to the solution and support the alignment between internal roadmaps and commercial timelines;
- Evangelise product management best-practices and our product strategy internally, improve ways of working in order to scale our organisation and get closer to realising our vision.
WHO YOU ARE
- You are passionate about developing customer-centric products and solving complex problems in collaboration with multiple teams;
- Have a background in Product Management or a similar role and have experience in e-commerce. Background in a platform business and/or SaaS companies is valuable;
- Meticulous, highly developed organizational skills, a hands-on attitude, and the ability to work on multiple projects in a highly dynamic and fast-paced environment;
- Experienced in working with cross-functional teams during the entire lifecycle of product development - pre-impact analysis, deployment, and post-deployment activities, and maintaining product roadmaps;
- Fluent in English.
