THE ROLEYou will report to the Senior Director of Creative Operations Management within Creative Operations (CROPs) and lead the group of managers that oversee our solutions design and delivery teams. These teams are accountable for project managing and delivering new capabilities to better serve the partners that work within our three businesses – Farfetch Marketplace, FPS and NGG.Your vision will be key to establish a clear path for the team and ensure we deliver our challenging future roadmap.Your role will be essential to identify the key skills the team should master and consolidate the excellence of our Solutions Design teams.

What you'll do:

  • You will work closely with the Senior Director of Service Management to build the vision, priorities, and roadmap for CROPs Solutions Design teams.
  • You will collaborate with senior leadership involved in our projects (e.g.: from Commercial / Operations / Tech) to find appropriate solutions within key areas of the business (carefully balancing speed vs quality).
  • You will provide visibility and support Creative Operations areas in order to secure we are able to deliver the solutions and implement them according to the agreed timelines.
  • You will connect with fellow Solutions Design areas across Farfetch to share best practices and build common ways of working and of improving predictability.
  • You will be the advocate for Creative Operations needs with our Technology Teams, whether they are driven by our partners needs or capabilities required to elevate the business.
  • You will provide guidance to our talented team managers and ensure they grow effectively in the defined career path.
  • You will work with the team to map the ideal skills for a Solution Delivery Manager (as basis for the team’s training plan and career path).
  • You will create a culture of excellence within the team, that keeps everyone motivated and focused on delivering consistently.

Who you are:

  • You have 10+ years of professional experience, a relevant part of these in managing teams focused on solutions design, project management or business consulting.
  • You have proven influencing skills and experience in managing stakeholders at diverse levels of the organisation, namely at the senior level.
  • You manage carefully when to focus on the long-term direction of the team and when to escalate issues and discuss them with your senior peers in other areas.
  • You are naturally interested in growing people and making the most out of the different profiles within a diverse team.
  • You are confident working at senior levels, with excellent engagement, verbal, and written communication skills both in Portuguese and English.
