THE ROLEWe're looking for a Senior Fulfillment Specialist for our international team of Fulfilment Design. You'll be responsible to design new fulfilment services and locations, deliver key projects and initiatives in our network of warehouses and support continuous improvement activities, with focus on quality, cost and service.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Lead critical projects, focused on performance improvement/workflow redesign, business expansion, systems and new technologies implementation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal clients, team members, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Identify and manage risks that may impact the success of projects.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement, and effectively communicate insights to inform decision making.
  • Understand business requirements and best solutions to implement.
  • Build business cases and measure the return on investment of your projects, monitoring project budget, ensuring that they are completed on time, on quality and on cost.
  • Be a continuous improvement agent, understanding problems, identifying root causes and opportunities for improvement and implementing solutions in operations and processes.

WHO YOU ARE

  • 5+ years experience in Operations, Supply Chain, E-commerce or similar.
  • Experience in warehouse design, in green field or current operation optimization.
  • Degree/Masters education, preferably in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering, Business/Supply Chain/Operations Management or similar.
  • Experience working in a 3PL is a plus
  • Experience in WMS Implementation, in particular in WMS/ERP integrations as a plus, in specific Reflex and JDA Dispatcher.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to warehouse operations and fulfillment, in specific of The Netherlands as a plus
  • Experience in B2B environment is a plus.
  • Knowledgeable in Lean or related continuous improvement tools and techniques.
  • Analytical, able to turn complex business problems into strategic solutions.
  • Able to deliver engaging presentations, including managing workshops with cross functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple medium to large size projects.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Available to travel up to 30% of your time, visiting client's facilities and Farfetch offices.
