THE ROLEThe role sits in the Trading team under Supply Pricing and our core goal is to leverage financial and commercial levers to support partner growth on Farfetch, attract the best stock for our customers and achieve the right behaviour from partners on our platform. We are looking for a commercially-minded analytics expert, supporting cross-functional projects to deliver additional value to the Farfetch community whilst driving our commercial priorities.
In addition to executing the Trading strategy, the role includes developing and growing products that add great value for our partners and ultimately for Farfetch, working closely with various internal teams and external suppliers, as well as optimising our commercial performance.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable with autonomously driving cross-functional projects that support the development of our overall Trading strategy as well as managing the operations linked to our ongoing initiatives.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Plan, execute and successfully implement our long-term Incentives strategy
  • Support on improving and executing the core commercial growth initiatives, with the objective of influencing our partner behaviour
  • Conduct research and build analytical models to support key business decisions (e.g launching a potential new incentives to fuel partner growth)
  • Run analysis to track and evaluate initiatives, perform seasonal forecasts and monitor financial impact
  • Liaising with partner-facing teams to gather qualitative feedback on our partner performance, responding to ad-hoc questions about our initiatives
  • Independently plan and manage projects through to operational delivery
  • Manage the day-to-day relationship with internal and external stakeholders – Account Managers, Merchandising, Finance, Ops teams
  • Run monthly business updates on Incentives related initiative performance
  • Support on building seasonal financial plans for our key partners to secure commercial objectives’ achievement
  • Work cross-functionally to support on delivering strategic and tactical initiatives leveraging incentives as a lever for influencing partners
  • Proactively seek out opportunities for improvement to enhance business processes, products and team performance

WHO YOU ARE

  • Experience in consulting, online retail, marketplace or luxury fashion is a plus
  • Exceptional analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced Excel and Powerpoint skills.
  • Experience with SQL is a must!
  • Commercially-minded strategic thinker with an emphasis on operational excellence
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills
  • Proactive with a willingness to ‘roll up your sleeves’ - can take control of complex problems, and is committed to finding a solution
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, comfortable dealing with ambiguity
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
