THE ROLE
- We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with strong technical skills to join our product authentication team at our New Jersey warehouse. The Product Authentication Specialist will serve as the primary support for our authentication department, focusing on technical aspects such as creating and designing training assets and maintaining equipment, while also staying informed about the latest trends and potential counterfeit risks in the sneaker market. This role will report directly to our Senior Operational Facilitator, providing updates and insights on authentication processes and the sneaker market.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- You will develop, design, and maintain training materials, including PowerPoint presentations and other visual assets to support the authentication team
- You will support other authenticators by maintaining and ensuring the functionality of equipment, including handheld barcode scanners, UV black lights, and authentication software.
- You will monitor the sneaker market, staying informed on new releases and high-threat counterfeit sneakers.
- You will contribute to assessing the risk score of each sneaker SKU release, updating threat scores using Stadium Goods' internal inventory management software.
- You will collaborate closely with the operations team to ensure their needs are met and facilitate their ability to work effectively.
- You will manage projects and organize tasks efficiently to ensure timely completion.
WHO YOU ARE
- You have 2+ years of experience in a technical support role or a similar position
- You have strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Tools, and the ability to create comprehensive materials.
- You have basic computer skills, including experience with inventory management software.
- You are an excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- You have strong attention to detail and ability to adapt quickly to changes in the market
- You have knowledge of and passion for the sneaker market and its trends.
- You have proven ability to take initiative and be proactive in providing support
- You have strong project management and organization skills.
