THE ROLEYou'll be part of a recently created team within Operations with a pivotal role in setting and executing the Ops Services vision within the Operations platform.
The Service Development team primary goal will be to build a holistic approach to the entire Ops service portfolio.
This team will own the Ops services catalogue, including capabilities, SLAs and costs, in close articulation with Operations functional areas and other Platform teams. Furthermore, the team should act as an authority in regards to the Ops platform strengths and limitations, and development plans. This team will also develop end-to-end scalable new Ops services and/or cross-service solutions, in partnership with the most impacted Operations functional areas, other Platform teams and Business Units.
Reporting to the Head of Services Development, you will be a go-to expert for services development, working side by side with our operations, tech and business players to achieve a compelling Ops services offering that supports the Farfetch platform growth.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Lead and support high impact projects, designing new cross-service capabilities as well as continuously improve our current services catalogue;
  • Own the service development process, from discovery to value proposition, operating model, build and delivery;
  • Gather analysis, research and insights, both externally through benchmarking and internally by collaborating with stakeholders at multiple levels in the organisation, to identify opportunities to further develop our services catalogue;
  • Continuously update, improve and communicate our service catalogue across all areas of the business and ensure clarity around current capabilities and future development plans;
  • Develop lasting relations within Farfetch, as you’ll be working cross-functionally within Operations, Tech and Commercial teams.

WHO YOU ARE

  • Strategic thinker with 4+ years of experience in business consulting or similar function, and passionate about Strategy, Operations, and Technology;
  • Experience in Project Management, with the ability to lead projects E2E autonomously, from concept to delivery;
  • Skilled problem solver with experience working cross-functionally to scope and deliver initiatives;
  • Strong analytical background and highly skilled in excel, knowledge of SQL/BigQuery is a plus;
  • Comfortable in dealing with ambiguity in a fast-moving environment;
  • Self-confident, with ability to challenge with a smile;
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English;
  • Fun to work with.
