THE ROLEAs the Manager of the Business Analytics team, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our Product Catalogue Development strategy, leading a team of talented SMEs of our Product Catalogue Management services & systems and be responsible for overseeing all aspects of functional analysis, requirements gathering, user acceptance testing (UAT). In this role you will be working in 3 main areas: (1) support the development of Farfetch´s Key Initiatives from a catalogue perspective, (2) work with Product Managers, Engineering and CROPS Solution Design Teams to deliver scalable catalogue solutions and (3) support the onboarding of enterprise-grade or strategic partners into the platform.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Lead and Mentor: Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to a team of business analysts. Foster a collaborative and high-performance environment that encourages knowledge sharing, innovation, and growth.
  • Team Objectives and Career Development: Work closely with team members to define individual objectives and career paths. Provide guidance, support, and opportunities for professional growth to enhance their skills and expertise.
  • Project Roadmap and Team Capacity: Support the project roadmap and prioritize initiatives based on business needs, resource availability, and strategic goals. Ensure the team operates at optimal capacity by effectively allocating resources and managing workloads.
  • Business Data Analytics: Leverage data analytics tools and methodologies to extract meaningful insights from business data. Analyse trends, identify opportunities for optimization and make data-driven recommendations to drive informed decision-making.

WHO YOU ARE

  • Proven experience (6+ years) in building and leading teams within the areas of business analysis, and functional analysis, preferably within the e-commerce/SaaS industry;
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate others;
  • Strong storytelling, problem-solving, and analytical thinking abilities, with keen attention to detail, the ability to create business cases and present complex information to diverse audiences;
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels;
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments with high levels of uncertainty, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
