Our flagship boutique is located on Brook Street in the heart of Mayfair, and comprises four stunning levels of architectural delight, a unique edit of luxury fashion, and allows for an immersive customer experience connected at all touchpoints.
THE ROLE
The Loss Prevention Officer’s role at Browns is to ensure the Safety and Security of all Company assets, property, employees, and clients in the store.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Provides a high standard of Security, Loss Prevention, Safety, and Security within the store. The position will necessitate full flexibility around shifts.
  • Understands the business to ensure that the service provision reflects the business needs and continually strives to enhance services.
  • Carries out Security, Loss Prevention duties including thorough patrols of the building, Front Entrance vigilance, overseeing delivery duties, Store access control, and Control Room duties to minimize the risks to such a high-profile Store.
  • Has excellent personal presentation and conforms to the uniform standard.
  • Sound understanding of the Health and Safety policy, site evacuation, and disaster management process (including incident management, reporting, and escalation for serious incidents) and an ability to support line management as and when required.
  • Operates Access Control ensuring an efficient service is provided to all external partners, personnel, and contractors.
  • Investigate all Security, Loss Prevention related matters following the approved investigation process and the correct procedures for securing and gathering evidence.
  • Completes any other Security, Loss Prevention tasks as and when required for the needs of the business.
  • Always deliver an effective visual shop floor deterrent, carrying out checks on high-risk areas, and identifying and dealing with potential safety/security incidents in line with Company Procedure.
  • To ensure staff searches are carried out in line with Company procedures.
  • The role will require you to professionally handle external theft cases, always following Company policy and procedures.

WHO YOU ARE

  • First Aid at work qualification, ideal but not necessary as we can provide.
  • Minimum of 2 years of Loss prevention experience working in the control room, front entrance, and luxury environment.
  • Computer literate with the ability to use Microsoft Outlook, word, and Excel.
  • Proven communication skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate a high level of confidentiality.
  • An understanding of physical security equipment.
  • Proactive and Problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent presentation together with strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent team player and passionate about service and Company values.
  • Confident and dynamic with a customer focussed "Can Do" attitude.
  • Work with high integrity, holding themselves to the highest standard/leading by example.
  • Good time management and ability to work under pressure.
