TURATIOur office in Via Turati is a strategic hub, and home to all of the NGG Group staff functions. Turati is where the behind the scenes driving force of NGG is brought to life; this is harmonized with the archive exhibits of brand collaborations found throughout the office.
THE ROLENew Guards Group is looking for a Junior Legal Specialist to join the team and support in all IP&Marketing related activities. You will report to the IP Legal Counsel and support in the prosecution and enforcement of NGG's IP portfolios, patent, trademark and copyright reviews.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Support in advising style and product teams in the development of projects (new collections, new products, etc) on intellectual property, unfair competition and communication issues;
  • directly contribute to the portfolio management of trademarks, designs and domain names (wide range of prosecution activities including evidence of use collection, renewals, transfer, etc.);
  • take part to the negotiation and drafting of IP related agreements, as licenses and IPR assignments;
  • support in drafting and negotiating of marketing contracts (music and content creation, media partnership, photographic services, concept, models agreements, etc.) and more in general legal support for marketing and digital marketing activities;
  • take part to the brand protection strategies of the company, both offline and online (manage external advisors at worldwide level, train local authorities, provide reports);
  • work on the cost management and budgeting activities of the IP team.

WHO YOU ARE

  • 2+ years experience in a similar role with a focus on brand enforcement and IP contracts
  • Bachelor's degree in law is required, a masters is a plus
  • Experience in IP law and or in the luxury fashion industry is preferred
  • Knowledge of national and European Law
  • Experience drafting intellectual property related agreements
  • Good knowledge of legal and business English written and spoken, this will be tested in the interview process
  • Strong sense of integrity and highly confidential
  • Attention to detail with accuracy and clarity in the preparation of documents
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well under pressure
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Highly organized, flexible with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced everchanging environment
