THE ROLEAs a Junior Application Specialist, you will be able to redesign and implement new changes in the system that will create an added value to our business in areas like Finance. You will work very closely with stakeholders where you will perform requirement gathering and then prioritize those requirements in the product roadmap. WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Perform Business and Functional Analysis in close relationship with Farfetch business and technology teams.
  • Address business challenges across Farfetch Group of companies and Business Units, covering areas such as Tax, treasury, AP, AR, procurement and finance in general.
  • Design processes and requirements for evolution, replacement or improving Corporate Applications and Farfetch Platform.
  • Lead solution design and decision initiatives, structuring business requirements, engaging with vendors and ensuring proper business assessment of different alternatives.
  • Design and Implement processes, ways of work and policies within Technology areas and with key stakeholders.
  • Promote best practices across Technology Teams for Business Engagement, by establishing Business Analysis Processes and Templates, and supporting Portfolio and Roadmap definition.
  • Represent Teams and their users, as required, during the design and delivery of future projects that will require system configuration.
  • Support or Stand-in for Project Management role as required.
  • Support the implementation, train, go-live and after go-live activities.
  • Liaise with 3rd party providers on more complex projects.
  • Report initiative status to senior management within Technology and with Business stakeholders.

WHO YOU ARE

  • A professional with a minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, Application specialist or Implementation Consultant with the following key competencies:
  • Knowledge of corporate business processes across Finance.
  • Experience in implementing core Corporate Applications such as ERP.
  • Aptitude for understanding & diagnosis of business processes.
  • Structured approach to problem solving (thinking creatively when required).
  • Knowledge/experience in working in the different software implementation phases.
