THE ROLEWe are looking for an IT Procurement Sourcing Intern to join our IT team.As we implement and support a growing number of IT initiatives inside Farfetch Group (working inside one of the most interesting companies in the group - New Guards Group), he/she will support the global IT procurement and control processes.He/She will be working cross functionally with different teams. From the IT Team, to Finance as well as with our Legal department. You need to be comfortable at sourcing and liaising across a broad scope of the business. You will be involved in IT Projects as well as sourcing options for general IT Hardware, softwares and licenses fee.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Support contract management processes, serving as the liaison between NGGH and vendors, understanding the needs of internal purchase requestors, closing deals with vendors, using analytical tools to compare vendors and pricing, coordinating with IT, Finance and Legal teams.
  • Support budget processes, creation, and execution analyzing several business data and financial information.
  • Develop creative approaches to review procurement process effectiveness and explore solutions for customers and suppliers.
  • Oversee buying channels, product catalogues and global purchasing for IT hardware, software and license fees.
  • Establish and maintain effective partnerships with key internal stakeholder aimed at identifying, understanding and fulfilling their procurement requirements for our IT category.
  • Define cost saving opportunities, facilitate and lead sourcing projects and supplier negotiation and establish and develop supplier relationships.
  • Manage the ongoing performance of key suppliers including objective setting and supplier evaluation where needed.

WHO YOU ARE

  • You have a degree level ideally in Economics, Management, Engineering, or Information Management.
  • You have 0-2 years' experience in software/tech procurement or software pre-sales, including budget or proposal management.
  • Able to manage multiple demands, identifying the necessary steps and moving forward through completion.
  • Critical thinker and able to easily build relationships with business areas and at different levels of the business structure.
  • Detail oriented, with an ability to assimilate, sort through and aggregate complex information.
  • Experience working in large-scale organizations on a multinational level with a multicultural team is a plus.
  • Aware of different generic business processes (Finance, HR, Commercial, Purchase, Sales, Legal).
  • You have good communication skills in English.
