VENRAYOur Venray warehouse is located in the historical region of Limburg in the Netherlands. This is our biggest Logistics centre where our teams are doing what's never been done to provide an unrivalled order experience to our customers globally.

THE ROLEReporting to the Head of Operations, the Inbound Operations Manager's purpose is to drive Inbound performance of our 3PL and work collaboratively across the business to identify and remedy key factors impacting the efficiency of our Inbound supply chain, ensuring the operation is agile and scalable.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Contract management on a day to day basis of our 3PL, ensuring SLA’s are met.
  • Partner with key functions across the business including merchandising, buying, web operations, transport, warehouse, retail and finances, to encourage a culture of accountability to identify blockers and find solutions to improve supply chain efficiency.
  • Daily reporting of KPI’s, sharing this information internally and with our 3PL to drive a high performance culture.
  • Ensure our 3PL are capturing relevant performance data relating supplier delivery performance, and productivity in all areas of the warehouse operation, identifying any inefficiencies and proposing remedies.
  • Monitor 3PL activity on a daily basis in order to flag and escalate any technology integration factors affecting the service for our customers.
  • Work with the buying and merchandising functions on forward planning and capacities, sharing information with our 3PL to prepare for a capable operation.
  • Key liaison for our concession partners, forging the relationships to understand brand requirements, forward plan for volumes, and brief our 3PL sharing as much information as possible to prepare to meet SLA’s.
  • Gathering performance metrics and building new reporting specific to new projects.
  • Run Browns Vendor Score Card every quarter, realising factors impacting supply chain performance and partnering across the Browns business and our 3PL to implement strategic action plans, educating stakeholders and encouraging adoption of changes implemented.
  • Work with the Product & Tech Team to implement efficient business processes and prepare the business for change through system integrations.
  • Organize and supervise full annual stock take in all business locations.

WHO YOU ARE

  • Solid experience in Operations and Supply Chain, preferably in a multi-channel environment.
  • Understanding of import and export processes.
  • Detailed understanding of warehouse operations; previous warehouse experience advantageous.
  • Strongly numerical skills; comfortable manipulating and interpreting data sets and communicating insights and actions to stakeholders in a meaningful way.
  • Exceptional communicator, ability to adapt at all levels across the business.
  • Ability to build positive working relationships and operate cross-functionally.
  • Commitment to deliver first class work every time.
  • Strong attention to detail and investigative nature.
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable to learn new systems and be an ambassador for change.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
