THE ROLEThe Graphic Designer will work closely with the Senior Art Director to support the creative department in the creation of graphic assets across all Violet Grey channels, ensuring a high level of design sophistication is brought to each deliverable. You will stay up to date on design trends within the luxury fashion and beauty world, bringing fresh ideas and on brand solutions to assigned projects. You are responsible for all weekly franchise emails, website updates, and social stories, as well as seasonal design projects.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

    SITE

  • Update and maintain visuals across violetgrey.com including navigation, PLP pages, PDP pages, homepage, and The Violet Files in tandem with the e-commerce manager
  • Upload graphics and image assets to the CMS and maintain the organization of the CMS media library
  • Cut PDP images in multiple formats to support brand usages
  • SOCIAL

  • Responsible for designing weekly franchise social stories, as well as translating seasonal campaign design into social stories
  • Work closely with the Social Media Coordinator to develop on brand graphics for special projects as needed
  • EMAIL

  • Design lead for email marketing. Responsible for concepting and designing engaging graphics for all marketing, transactional, and promotional emails, sale banners, and seasonal promotions
  • Assist in building emails within Retention Science and work closely with marketing and copy to test and troubleshoot daily email production
  • VIDEO

  • Design video graphics and title cards, use animation programs to create graphics to support video on violetgrey.com
  • ADDITIONAL

  • Assist marketing and PR teams with brand requests for assets
  • Design digital invitations and gifting notes as needed
  • Put forth design concepts for seasonal campaigns
  • Support Senior Art Director on projects as needed
  • Organize and maintain design templates on the DAM

WHO YOU ARE

  • 2+ years of digital design and a strong portfolio reflecting this work
  • You are an organized, detail oriented designer with an ability to deliver high quality and on-brand graphics in a fast paced environment
  • You are a self starter who takes initiative and is able to work efficiently and independently
  • You work well across multiple departments and own the channels you are responsible for
  • You have strong communication skills and a commitment to excellence in the work you deliver
  • You demonstrate strong and convincing presentation skills, able to get ideas across quickly and effectively
  • Software Skills Needed: Adobe creative suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, XD, Premier; CMS experience (Figma or Farfetch preferred); Experience in project management tools like Asana, Monday, and Slack

CA WAGE TRANSPARENCY LAW

  • The pay range for this position at the commencement of employment is expected to be between $60,000 and $67,000 a year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
  • If hired, the employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
