FINANCEWe're a truly global team with a presence in all of our locations around the world. Our biggest teams are based in the UK and Portugal. Our team in Porto focuses on financial reporting and operations, while the Group Finance team in London is made up of Tax, Legal, Treasury and Commercial Finance. All of our teams play an instrumental role within the business, from developing best practice, delivering strategic projects and helping us to tell our story with data.

LISBONOur Lisbon office is located in Portugal's cosmopolitan capital. In this office, Farfetchers like to have catch ups in the ball pit or creative moments by the grand piano!

THE ROLEThe Finance Analyst will be the lead support for our Operations’ Senior leaders, working closely with their teams to deliver on the strategic and financial goals of that area.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Support the Operations’ Stakeholders with timely KPI reporting, monthly dashboard update and meetings, proactively bringing meaningful analysis and approaches whenever suitable or needed.
  • Support the Operations’ stakeholders during the planning cycles (Latest Views, Reforecasts and Budget), collecting data, creating different scenarios and analysis and ensuring the main deliverables on time along the process
  • Produce insightful analysis to help support business cases, as well as being point of contact to review and challenge assumptions where necessary
  • Ensure the quality of the data produced, working closely with accountancy team to ensure that all costs are booked in the right place
  • Set up and monitor a monthly accrual process for the main Operations’ expenses, facilitating the communication between accountancy and Operations’ team
  • Bridging Finance and the Business, by creating a trustful and cooperative relationship with both.

WHO YOU ARE

  • Master’s or Bachelor's Degree in Management, Economics or Finance.
  • At least 2 years of experience (mandatory) in Financial Planning & Controlling (preferable).
  • Strong logical thinking, sense of responsibility, sound judgment and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Advanced excel skills (including G-sheets).
  • Experience working with AX/D365 and SAP BPC will be a plus.
  • Ability to effectively manage competing priorities to ensure delivery of the most critical tasks within appropriate timelines
  • A team player with good communication skills, who has the ability to build relationships to assist in managing deliverables.
