THE ROLEOur Platform Solutions team is responsible for onboarding new B2B clients (Luxury brands & retailers) into our unrivalled Luxury Platform (FPS - Farfetch Platform Solutions).As a subject matter expert on the FF platform, you’ll lead the deployment of our e-commerce platform for Operations workstreams (Shipping, Fulfilment, Payment, Fraud, Order Management, Creative Operations, Customer Service and Partner Support). You will play an important role to introduce, educate and share luxury retail commerce best practices with our B2B clients.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Actively participate in e-commerce platform implementation projects, leading workstreams' discovery, design, deployment and hypercare phases. This role is part project management, part product & solutions design and part FF platform deployment;
  • You will establish and communicate a clear timeline and progress of the project, making clear all the deliverables, dependencies, milestones, and responsibilities, while ensuring a proactive communication, anticipating roadblocks and escalating to management when needed;
  • Manage daily relations with the client and the project team, responsibly and according to scope;
  • Translate business requirements into development requirements for high quality technical and scalable solutions, following best practices;
  • Identify, assess and solve complex problems, using critical analysis and contributing to develop knowledge in different focus areas;
  • Ensure liaison with the area of expertise of Operations Service Areas and, where necessary, mobilise and involve teams of specialists in order to leverage the project in the various areas;
  • Become a subject matter expert on FF platform and e-commerce luxury industry, regarding Shipping, Fraud, Payments, Order Management, Fulfilment, Retail, Customer Service, Ops Reporting and Operational Support.

WHO YOU ARE

  • 5+ years of experience in managing projects and delivering solutions. You should have a project management mindset & skillset (planning, status update, activities dependencies, expectations and stakeholder management, organised, sharp eye, high-level & detailed analysis trade-offs);
  • Excellent communication skills, comfortable with client-facing and public speaking, not afraid of setting expectations and managing direct questions from clients;Proficient with technology; ability and willingness to learn and explain FF Platform, and to deal with modular requirements from the client;
  • Sharp problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively under pressure and short timelines;
  • Comfortable leading cross-functional workstreams in a fast-paced environment, and be resilient and resourceful in face of ambiguity and thrive on;
  • International and open-minded attitude, being ready to work in a multicultural and inclusive environment.
