Here you will absorb the essence of the NGG DNA and feel the creative input for all cross-category collections.THE ROLENew Guards Group is looking for a Compliance and Production Developer to join our Eyewear Business Unit. You will respond to the Business Unit Director, Eyewear, and manage the full production process from initial concept to the realization of the final product, ensuring all compliance regulations are met.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Assist with day-to-day contact with factories and to guarantee both quality, quantity and timing expectations are met;
- Define manufacturing process, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions;
- Brainstorming with the design and product development teams;
- Checking samples to improve their fit before launching the production;
- Working with and through others for the analysis of production problems supporting also manufacturers with technical issues during production;
- Create, update and maintain concise and understandable documentation including but not limited to work instructions, reports, certificates correspondence and quality check manuals;
- Complaint management together with the customer service team.
WHO YOU ARE
- 2+ years’ experience in a similar role preferably in the luxury fashion industry
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Product Management, a masters is a plus
- Proven experience liaising with suppliers
- Knowledge of certifications and licenses required for the exportation of eyewear at a worldwide level is a plus
- Excellent knowledge and use of Microsoft Office – Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Ability to manage stress and pay close attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well under pressure
- Ability to work proactively, independently on multiple projects under tight timeframes
- Highly organized, flexible with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced everchanging environment
- Fluent in English written and spoken this will be tested in the interview process
