In this office, Farfetchers like to have catch ups in the ball pit or creative moments by the grand piano!THE ROLEThe security team in Farfetch is looking for someone keen on security, particularly in the Application Security field, that wants to be part of a fun and multicultural team with a challenging roadmap full of trials but with great engineering rewards. Your skills will help guide our tech community in the right direction by promoting knowledge-sharing initiatives, a careful security revision in our technology portfolio, and contributing to all the phases of the Software Development Life Cycle.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Perform penetration testing on in-house developed software
• Synchronize with different FARFETCH areas and stakeholders
• Create and maintain internal tooling for team daily usage
• Provide security training to development teams
• Be a subject-matter expert (SME), help development teams with their security needs
• Promote initiatives to strengthen our Security Champions community
• Help maintain and improve our Secure Software Development Life Cycle

WHO YOU ARE

• A graduate of a program in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
• A professional with a background in Information Security; Software Development; Software Architecture; Testing
• A professional with more than 3 years in a similar position or in another relevant security field
• Experience in one or more of the following areas: security engineering, web application and browser security, mobile security, computer and network security, authentication and access control, and applied cryptography
• Coding experience in one or more general-purpose languages
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
