THE ROLENew Guards Group is currently looking for a Senior Accounting Manager who will directly report to the Head of Administration and who will have the responsibility to manage and develop systems and procedures for collecting, analyzing, verifying and reporting accounting information.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the Accounting Department including monthly closure, accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, reconciliations, taxes;
  • Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements;
  • Be responsible for Statutory Financial Statements and Explanatory Note;
  • Ensure the execution of VAT liquidation, VAT declaration, LIPE, 770Define and implement proper accounting methods, policies and principles;
  • Take part to annual audits;
  • Provide recommendations;
  • Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions;
  • Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy;
  • Meet financial accounting objectives;
  • Ensure the maintenance of fiscal files and records to document transactions;
  • Work closely with our finance, credit, treasury department and other teams, when required.

WHO YOU ARE

  • BS degree in Accounting or Finance
  • At least 10 years of experience as an Accounting Manager, better if in international and structured fashion companies
  • Very fluent in English, both written and spoken
  • Advanced excel user
  • Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
  • Ability to manage an heterogeneus team, composed by many individuals, with different competences and backgrounds
  • Proactivity
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
