Turati is where the behind the scenes driving force of NGG is brought to life; this is harmonized with the archive exhibits of brand collaborations found throughout the office THE ROLENew Guards Group is currently looking for an Accountant, Retail who will have the precious opportunity to be part of the NGGH Retail Accounting Team.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Be responsible for assigned income and receivable accounts, including invoicing, account reconciliations, process documentation and improvement, reporting, and communications with internal and external business partners;
• Interact with other associates to resolve issues and/or problems;
• Assist with routine accounting functions and related activities of the company's retail stores;
• Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of accounts receivable and accounts payable reporting;
• Provide support for requests from senior management;
• Assists with month-end close and financial reporting;
• Review of bank reconciliations and recurring cash entries;
• Review of general ledger;
• Perform Sox Controls: bank and sales reconciliations.

WHO YOU ARE

• High school diploma
• At least 2 years of previous experience as an accountant, better if in retail/fashion industry
• Significant proficiency in Microsoft applications including Excel and Word
• Fluent english
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with fast changing priorities
