Working in high-performing teams, you’ll use technology and data to deliver analysis, judgement and insights. As a Shaper of the future, you’ll develop your potential, make real impact, and work towards a globally recognised Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) qualification while supporting clients and wider society.

Core skills for success

  • Collaboration, communication and relationship builder - thrive in inclusive teams where every voice and perspective strengthens outcomes.

  • Curiosity and motivation - using a risk mindset to ask better questions, understand businesses and spot issues that could impact risk, trust or reputation.

  • Integrity and quality - acting with confidence and accountability to protect trust in business and society.

  • Digital, data and AI fluency - use tools and automation to work smarter and focus on material risks.

  • Study towards a Professional Qualification, which requires attending in-person courses, self-study and sitting exams.

  • Attend EY learning courses to continually learn new skills.

  • Regularly meeting your support network including your Career Counsellor, and Apprenticeship Coach to track your performance and help you progress your career.

  • Participate in a range of other activities that help you build your network and support the performance of our business.
