Job Description
This is a fixed term role for 12 months to cover a period of maternity leave.
The Product Marketing Executive is a critical part of the Product & Services Marketing team, and as well as supporting the marketing managers within product and services, will have autonomy for a range of business critical responsibilities. The Marketing Executive will be responsible for a range of tactical marketing activities including social media, email campaigns, web updates and creation of marketing collateral; as well as monitoring and assessing the overall metrics and success of products and services marketing campaigns to help ensure commercial objectives are met.
Day to day we’ll trust you to:
- Monitor, assess and report key product & services marketing campaign metrics to help ensure future campaign success and greater ROI
- Bookstore management: maintain pages, ensure banners and copy are up to date
- Deliver monthly books advance information to print agents to drive sales
- Produce a regular Journals content marketing campaign to drive usage, support retention and upselling
- Be responsible for managing collateral translations with external agencies to support regional marketing teams
- Create social media assets for product & services social media campaigns
- Support with additional ad-hoc product & services marketing projects
You’ll need to have:
- Experience of working in marketing/communications or publishing
- A willingness to experiment and try new things, evaluate and adjust to get the best results
- A great team player ethic with the ability to take direction from their line manager and translate this into actions/plans
- Enthusiasm and passion towards your work as well as having a flexible and creative approach to challenges
- The ability to actively and regularly communicate internally with colleagues and management as well as to external stakeholders
