About the role:

Okay, we’ve waffled long enough. So let’s get to the good bit: You.

Reporting directly to the Head of Integrated Business Planning (Operations), you will maintain and further develop the S&OP Governance Structure. You think strategically, but are also willing to roll your sleeves up and get into the data. You will be data focused and results driven, shaping planning processes within the business as we continue to scale.

You’ll be a strong collaborator, with excellent communication, analytical and influencing skills who enjoys working in a fast paced environment where not one day is the same. You are an experienced operationally focussed professional with a natural acclimation to cross functional working and stakeholder engagement. You’ll have prior experience in supply planning, and dealing with complex data sets. Ideally, you will have implemented a new S&OP process, or made significant improvements to an established one.

Location: Hybrid working; a mix of working from our Bristol or London office & working remotely #LI-Hybrid

Employment type: Permanent (please note, you must have the right to work in the UK)

What you will do

Lead a small, but experienced team to deliver, maintain and execute effective S&OP across the Elvie business. This will include the following;

● Maintain, develop and drive forward the newly established S&OP process through cross functional collaboration.

● Ensure we have effective inventory plans which balance working capital, commercial liabilities, sales requirements and safety stock

● Ensure supply plans are achievable and cost effective by understanding and communicating supply constraints, both capacity and clear to build

● Seamlessly marry together the sales, demand and supply planning to meet our commercial targets across all territories and the Elvie product portfolio

● Work closely with stakeholders to ensure demand plans are reflective of current market trends. Commercial opportunities and risks should be clearly documented.

● Take a hands-on approach to the development and delivery of key performance metrics within the S&OP process to measure performance to plan, working capital and availability

● Use your data insights to help support key business and strategic decision making.

● Manage stakeholder expectations on the opportunities and risk elements within the supply chain.

Requirements

Requirements / What we need from you

● 8+ years of experience in Operations, Supply Chain, Global Planning roles

● Have the ability to prove you can increase operational performance in a consumer product manufacturing environment.

● A laser-focused eye for detail and excellent analytical ability, able to extract, analyse and interpret data

● Experience of line management preferred, but not required

● Advanced Excel experience & ideally experience in Avercast/Netsuite/MRP/EDI systems

● An expert at data analytics and highly organised

● A great communicator who can clearly articulate complex data implications

● Able to take on responsibility and enjoy a challenge

● Excited to have the opportunity to influence every step of a process

● For some positions, there may be an additional interview with one of our senior leadership team
