Fully Remote - Senior Finance Assistant

Job Description

Are you an experienced Finance Assistant looking for a fully remote role with a high level of flexibility? We are looking to recruit a Senior Finance Assistant to join our Finance team. The Senior Finance Assistant will be responsible for preparing financial statements, processing invoices and picking up some payroll tasks. Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, the ideal candidate must be able to work autonomously as this is a fully home based role.

What you will need to do!

• Support the day-to-day transactions, including expenses and payroll
• Process payments
• Manage invoices
• Intercompany reporting and accounting weekly and monthly (several entities, multi-currencies)
• Assist with budget preparation
• Participate in monthly, quarterly and annual reporting
• System; Maintain and improve the company’s finance accounting system (Netsuite) for the main entity
• Participate in the roll-out of Netsuite in the other entities of the group
• Monthly payroll and keep organised records

What you will need to bring!

• A positive mindset and be self-motivated
• A qualification such as AAT or equivalent
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Self-motivated and adaptable team player with strong interpersonal skills and a high level of integrity.
• Good understanding of local and international accounting, tax and VAT duties
• Previous payroll experience is essential
