Depop supports visa sponsorship, sponsorship opportunities may be limited to certain roles and skillsets.

  • Good technical knowledge of mobile application development in Android with experience producing apps that feature a fast, consistent and non-blocking user experience.
  • Solid foundation in computer science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms and multi-threading.
  • Experience with debugging issues occurring on user’s devices using tools such as Crashlytics.
  • Able to exercise good judgement on when to craft your own frameworks, and when to use those provided by Android / by the community.
  • We have over 100 libraries and SDKs used in the app. While we won’t list them all here, you should be able to learn and work with new libraries, SDKs and design patterns quickly thanks to your wealth of experience and strong engineering fundamentals.

Desirable:

  • Previous experience of working with a large and mature Android codebase.
