Job Description

SMB Account Manager

Location: UAE (United Arab Emirates)

Working pattern: Hybrid / Office-based (On-the-ground presence required)

Languages: English and Arabic (Fluency in both is required)

Join us in our mission to transform the way people shop and eat, where impact, innovation, and growth drives everything we do. Our Site Operations team powers the physical side of our marketplace through HOP (our rapid grocery delivery service) and Editions (our network of delivery-only kitchens). From launching new sites to ensuring operational excellence across markets, we combine retail and hospitality expertise with operational rigour. If you thrive in hands-on environments and want to help redefine how food and groceries reach customers—come join us on the ground.

We’re looking for an SMB Account Manager to join our UAE team. In this role, you’ll manage a diverse portfolio of independent and multi-site brands, driving "brilliant basics" and executing joint initiatives that lead to sustainable growth for both Deliveroo and our partners.

Get to know our Site Operations team — what drives us, how we work, and what you can expect.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be joining the SMB (Small Medium Business) team. We are the strategic link between Deliveroo and the local restaurant community, ensuring our partners have the tools, insights, and support they need to thrive in a digital marketplace.

Here’s what your day-to-day might look like:

  • Build and nurture strong relationships with small and medium restaurant accounts through proactive face-to-face meetings and on-the-ground support.

  • Drive sustainable growth by diagnosing, resolving, and reporting on key performance KPIs across your assigned portfolio.

  • Cross-sell and upsell key Deliveroo services to help partners unlock new revenue streams and improve their operational reach.

  • Lead performance improvements by identifying growth levers and inefficiencies, implementing scalable solutions across multiple partners.

  • Manage partners directly to unlock critical value improvements, ensuring every restaurant in your portfolio is operating at its full potential.

What You’ll Need to Thrive

Our ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in some of these areas and curiosity to grow in others:

  • Fluency in English and Arabic is essential for effective communication with our diverse partner base in the UAE.

  • Proven commercial acumen with a "get it done" mindset and a track record of meeting monthly targets and objectives.

  • Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, or other formula-based tools (experience with Looker is a significant plus).

  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of building rapport with independent business owners and multi-site brand managers alike.

  • Proactive problem-solving abilities, with the confidence to independently resolve day-to-day issues while knowing when to seek advice for complex challenges.

  • Solid educational background, with a BSc/BA in business, engineering, economics, or a related field preferred.
