Job Description

Senior Marketing Manager, Deliveroo Plus (Maternity Cover)

Join us in our mission to transform the way people shop and eat, where impact, innovation, and growth drive everything we do. Our Brand & Experience team builds the emotional connection between Deliveroo and our customers, riders, and partners. With a deep understanding of our audience and a passion for creativity, we bring our brand to life across every touchpoint. Whether it’s a push notification, social campaign, or packaging design—we craft compelling experiences that shape perceptions, spark engagement, and make Deliveroo a loved, global brand.

We’re looking for a Senior Marketing Manager, Deliveroo Plus to join our Middle East team for a fixed-term maternity cover contract. In this role, you will own the end-to-end marketing strategy for Deliveroo Plus across the UAE, Kuwait, and Qatar, driving subscriber acquisition and long-term loyalty.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be joining the Middle East Marketing team. You will be the primary owner of the Deliveroo Plus growth engine, collaborating with local and international teams to refine our subscription value proposition and hit ambitious commercial goals.

Here’s what your day-to-day might look like:

  • Subscriber Acquisition: Develop and execute multi-channel marketing strategies to drive new sign-ups, focusing on converting free-trial users into long-term paid subscribers.

  • Retention & Loyalty: Implement sophisticated lifecycle marketing and personalised experiences to reduce churn and deepen customer engagement with the Plus programme.

  • Data Analysis & ROI: Closely monitor KPIs and acquisition costs (CAC) to optimise channel performance and ensure marketing spend is delivering maximum value.

  • CVP & Pricing Strategy: Partner with Product and Central teams to refine subscription packages, trial offers, and the overall Customer Value Proposition (CVP).

  • Campaign Optimisation: Lead the planning and testing of creative assets and marketing messages, using a "test, learn, and scale" approach to improve ROI.

  • Global Collaboration: Work across geographies, aligning local Middle East initiatives with global Plus strategies to ensure a consistent and high-quality brand experience.

What You’ll Need to Thrive

Our ideal candidate is a growth-obsessed marketer who thrives on data and possesses the operational grit to manage high-volume workstreams.

  • Extensive Expertise: Minimum 10 years in growth marketing, with at least 4 years specifically focused on subscription-based models.

  • Analytical Mastery: High proficiency in data analysis and customer segmentation, with the ability to turn complex data into actionable growth tactics.

  • Digital Marketing Depth: Proven experience in paid and owned media, CRM, and Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO).

  • Strategic Influence: Ability to use customer insights to build long-term retention strategies and influence senior stakeholders across different geographies.

  • Execution at Pace: A track record of delivering high-quality work with speed and accuracy in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment.

  • Collaborative Spirit: Excellent communication skills with a passion for building relationships and motivating cross-functional teams.
