Job Description

Associate Account Manager (Grocery & Retail)

Join us in our mission to transform the way people shop and eat, where impact, innovation, and growth drive everything we do. Our New Verticals (NV) team is at the heart of Deliveroo’s expansion into grocery and retail—shaping how we serve top-tier brands and unlocking new revenue streams. We aren't just support; we are partner consultants who use data-driven insights to drive growth for the biggest names in the industry.

We’re looking for an Associate Account Manager to join our passionate and dynamic team. In this role, you will work closely with Account Managers and cross-functional teams (Marketing, Operations, Product) to provide best-in-class consultancy and relationship management to our top partners.

What You’ll Be Doing

You will be a key driver in maintaining the health and growth of our top-tier grocery and retail brands.

  • Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze partner performance, preparing and presenting detailed review meetings for key stakeholders to identify growth opportunities.

  • Portfolio Support: Assist Account Managers in managing a portfolio of major brands, focusing on building deep, lasting relationships across their networks.

  • Commercial Execution: Support the implementation of marketing plans and commercial activities, ensuring our partners are maximizing their visibility on the platform.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a bridge between Marketing, Operations, Customer Service, and Corporate teams to ensure our partners' operational needs are met and their business continues to scale.

  • Consultative Growth: Use your industry knowledge and Deliveroo data to offer strategic advice that helps partners improve their online sales performance.

What You’ll Need to Thrive

Our ideal candidate is a self-starter who balances analytical rigor with excellent people skills:

  • Experience: At least 2 years in a commercial role, ideally within account management, sales, or retail operations.

  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree.

  • Analytical Mindset: Strong numerical skills with the ability to turn data into actionable insights for partners.

  • Relationship Management: A natural ability to build and maintain long-term professional relationships.

  • Operational Excellence: Excellent attention to detail, strong organization skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office/project management tools.

  • Communication: Must be fluent in English.

Why Join Us?

At Deliveroo, you’ll solve complex real-time challenges in an industry that is redefining convenience. Working here you can expect to:

  • 🚀 Drive Rapid Innovation: Be part of the team scaling our fastest-growing business segment (Grocery & Retail).

  • 🌱 High-Level Exposure: Work directly with top brands and internal senior leadership.

  • 🧠 Ownership and Autonomy: Manage your own priorities in a fast-paced, "fail-fast-learn-faster" environment.
