Your mission
As a Sales Engineering Manager at deepset, you will become part of our first North American team, contributing to the growth of a new region. You will be the first Sales Engineer, and responsible for building this function and team.
You’ll help us shape our GTM strategy.
You’ll directly deliver value to customers, by collaborating with Sales and Engineering teams through pre-sales activities, aiming to transform customers’ data and satisfy their information needs.

Your impact
- Own the pre-sales cycle as a technical lead, taking responsibility for the technical aspects of the deals, and working closely in collaboration and alignment with the Solution Engineering team
- Produce proposals, perform demos, POCs and create reusable assets to facilitate pre-sales processes
- Configure tooling for Haystack and deepset Cloud
- Participate in client meetings, presentations, and marketing events on demand
- Understand the clients’ domains, identify their problems and demonstrate how our products can match their needs
- Collaborate on the GTM strategy, hire and train new team members
Your profile
- University degree in Computer Science or comparable qualification
- A goal-oriented relationship builder, with 5+ years of the overall experience, preferably in enterprise sales, and working with Mid-market and Fortune 1000 Enterprise companies
- Knowledge of the Machine Learning lifecycle
- Previous experience with a Series B or C startup is highly desirable
- Available for travels (50%+)
