The Reconciliations manager would report into the Head of Treasury Operations and their primary responsibilities are to make sure that 1) The right amounts of money are in the right place at the right time to allow effective delivery of client payment and trading activities. 2) Client funds are safeguarded in accordance with FCA, DNB and MAS e-money requirements and 3) No money is lost through error, fraud or loss making activities.
This is a full time permanent position, with the working hours Monday to Friday 9:30am - 5:30pm with occasional bank holiday requirements.

Directly accountable for...

• Resourcing and leadership of a team of 5-8 FTE based in the UK and Netherlands
• Execution of all daily reconciliation and control processes such that any abnormal transactions are identified, investigated and corrected
• Reviewing reconciliation and control activity regularly, ensuring it is fit for purpose
• Establish and maintain KPIs to measure effectiveness and efficiency of reconciliation and control processes
• Drive continuous improvement activity to scale (reduce reconciliation breaks, eliminate manual processes, increase match rates, etc.) and improve levels of control
• Compliant with FCA, DNB and MAS safeguarding requirements (client money segregation and reconciliation)
• Ledger maintenance, ensuring systems and records accurately reflect client and internal financial activity
• Working closely with Finance to ensure all profits, losses, charges or interest are correctly funded/booked
• Coaching/training team members; act as subject matter expert on Treasury & Control across Currencycloud
• Monitor and maintain daily balance sheet reconciliation in relation to company closing balances. Ensure it is completed and recorded to a high standard
