Job Description

Join us, be part of more.

We’re so much more than an energy company. We’re a family of brands revolutionising how we power the planet. We're energisers. One team of 21,000 colleagues that's energising a greener, fairer future by creating an energy system that doesn’t rely on fossil fuels whilst living our powerful commitment to igniting positive change in our communities. Here, you can find more purpose, more passion, and more potential. That’s why working here is #MoreThanACareer. We do energy differently - we do it all. We make it, store it, move it, sell it, and mend it.

About your team:

We’re the pride of Ireland. Bord Gáis Energy have been powering the nation’s homes and businesses for almost 40 years. But now, we’re so much more than just gas and electric. Through our unique combination of household heroes and energy assets, we’re at the heart of the energy transition in Ireland, strengthening the country’s energy security and helping customers get ready for a net zero future.

We have an exciting opportunity for an Operations Coordinator (Installations) to join our growing Local Heroes and Net Zero teams. In this pivotal role, you'll act as a key point of contact for both customers and installers, providing first-line support across our installation ecosystem and helping to deliver a seamless end-to-end customer journey.

Working closely with a wide range of stakeholders, you'll play a vital role in ensuring positive outcomes for customers and installers at every stage of the installation process. From resolving complex queries and complaints to supporting onboarding activities, driving process improvements, monitoring performance, and ensuring quality and compliance standards are met, you'll help shape an outstanding customer and partner experience.

We're looking for someone who is passionate about building strong relationships, solving problems, and identifying opportunities to improve the way we work. You'll be comfortable analysing information, turning insights into meaningful recommendations, and contributing to projects that support business growth and transformation.

Location: Based within commuting distance of our Dublin office, you'll be comfortable working on a hybrid basis with at least two days per week spent in the office.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Provide first-line support to customers and installers, resolving queries, issues, and complaints.
  • Coordinate installation schedules, surveys, and communication across customers, installers, and field teams.
  • Build strong relationships with installers, surveyors, and trade partners to support business growth.
  • Monitor service quality and compliance, ensuring partners meet agreed standards and deliver excellent customer experiences.
  • Support the delivery of boiler and EV installations, ensuring a smooth end-to-end journey.
  • Analyse operational performance, identify root causes, and help implement improvements.
  • Drive initiatives to reduce complaints and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure orders are fulfilled and delivery timelines are met.
  • Track and contribute to the achievement of key operational and customer service metrics.

Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • Experience working in Customer Service/Operations, Sales Operations, or a similar analytical role.
  • Salesforce experience is preferred (navigation, case management, dashboards & reporting).
  • A team-oriented individual who will provide ground support for our sales and operations team.
  • Aptitude for identifying gaps and implementing solutions.
  • Ability to utilise technology for building solutions.
  • Attention to detail while handling multiple, simultaneous projects under deadline pressure.
  • Positive attitude with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Self-motivated and able to drive results independently.
  • Experience working with contractors or third parties.
  • Demonstratable experience of using data (Business Intelligence) to make informed decisions and influence others.

The ideal candidate will bring experience from a customer operations, sales support, installations, or similar fast-paced environment and possess strong commercial awareness alongside excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. You'll be confident engaging with stakeholders at all levels and thrive in a collaborative, dynamic setting.

Most importantly, you'll have a growth mindset and a genuine desire to make things better. As part of a business operating in a rapidly evolving market, you'll embrace change, demonstrate adaptability, and play an active role in helping us deliver market-leading Net Zero solutions as we energise a greener, fairer future.
