Net Zero Service Partner Manager

That’s why we need a brilliant Net Zero Service Partner Manager to help us get to where we’re going. You’ll bring bags of energy, know-how and passion to our family of door-opening brands, including British Gas and Hive. And you’ll join a team who are just as focused delivering on fantastic results as you are.

British Gas Zero has a clear mission, to help increasing numbers of customers save increasing amounts of carbon and cost. We want to be the number one brand of choice when it comes to decarbonising the home. A strong network of partners will allow us to unlock growth and build unrivalled economies of scale.

In this role you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of key partners across our Net Zero portfolio; ensuring key deliverables are met as well as building strong relationships enabling our growth ambitions.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Responsible for the mobilisation of Field franchisees, service partners and heroes (3rd parties). This involves managing, supporting, and motivating 3rd parties to deliver industry leading customer service metrics and performance standards, supporting a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Own performance management of key partners, sharing regular KPIs and delivery metrics with the Net Zero leadership team.
  • Implement flexible capacity solutions to support Regional Net Zero delivery teams in delivering great service to our customers.
  • Support in the development of 3rd party strategy for Net Zero, aligned to our overall mission and Go-to-market approach.
  • Support the Senior Partner Delivery manager in owning accountability and single point of contract for regional performance of 3rd parties, reporting to Net Zero leadership teams as parties accountable for customers. Implement and manage key operational stakeholders to principles of key account management model, recognising Net Zero leadership teams as ‘internal’ customers of Partner Delivery Service.

Who are we looking for?

  • Specialist knowledge and experience of the Franchise / Contracting operations.
  • Influencing and managing key external stakeholders.
  • Experience of field-based operations and the creating of a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Passion for delivering amazing service to all our customers.
  • Experience of managing multiple stakeholders in delivery of a service that delivers positive customer outcomes.
  • A clear methodical approach to diagnosing improvement needs and ability to facilitate appropriate interventions.
