The Finance Administrator is responsible for maintaining the financial health and integrity of the organization. The role exists to ensure that all financial transactions are accurately recorded, invoices are processed, payments are reconciled, and financial reports are prepared.
Location - Flexible home working
6 month contract
Part time - 22 hours which can be worked flexibly across the week
Key Accountabilities;
- Invoice Processing: Ensure all invoices raised through estimation are accurately processed and recorded.
- Order Book Maintenance: Maintain the order book for new sales on a daily basis.
- Payment Data Extraction: Extract and record data from Stripe payments day book.
- Debt Management: Run aged debt reports regularly and follow up on outstanding debts.
- Payment Reconciliation: Reconcile payments made through HSBC/NatWest against aged debt.
- Banking Extracts: Run banking extracts regularly to monitor and manage banking transactions.
- Deferred Income Reports: Prepare month-end deferred income reports.
- Month-End Audit: Complete month-end audit ensuring all financial data is accurate and up-to-date.
Skills and Experience
- Understanding of financial regulations and accounting processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong numerical skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Customer Focus: Ability to prioritize customer needs and deliver on expectations.
- Working with Ambiguity: Comfortable dealing with uncertainty and able to make decisions with incomplete information.
- Agility: Ability to adapt quickly to changes and pivot as needed.
- Planning: Strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
