Job Description
In this exciting and challenging role, the Finance Manager Metering and ECO will focus on supporting the Director, Finance - Metering / ECO finance and Operational stakeholders by providing Business Partner Support and Commercial Insight.
This is a pivotal stage for both the Smart Mandate and ECO programme with combined annual spend in excess of £750m. Ensuring that both programmes are delivered in line with regulatory targets and at optimal cost will be a key part of this high-profile role.

The Role
Finance Business Partner lead for Metering and ECO Programmes
Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders across Operations and Finance and work with the Operational teams to deliver business strategy
Analyse Metering and ECO cost base and translate financial business performance into clear reporting content
Lead budgeting process to deliver robust and challenging plans
Prepare and present business cases for senior stakeholders and support delivery of these plans.
Support Regulatory RFI’s and other submissions as required
Support the month end process and subsequent reporting
Key Competencies
Ability to achieve outcomes within agreed timeframes and under time pressures
Excellent communicator with strong analytical skills and ability to translate complex financial analysis into summarised output
Team player with experience in building a strong network of relationships across the business and finance teams
Strong strategic thinking – able to step away from the detail to see the bigger picture
Commercially minded with confidence to work directly with external stakeholders.
Strong MS Office skills required, primarily Excel and Powerpoint
Qualifications and Experience
Accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
Previous commercial finance experience in a large organisation
