As our business sets up for further growth, we are putting together a new Metering Business team to help us achieve our ambition of a profitable future Net Zero platform. For this team to succeed, we need an Asset Management Analyst to take responsibility for the asset registration, asset tracking, data flow and management of industry-level data flows including mismatches, and to monitor firmware, meter comms and health.

Accountabilities

  • Data flow exceptions & fixes – monitors and tracks dataflow exceptions or errors associated with MAP installs/replacements & churns and looks to resolve to ensure continued operations

  • Meter lifecycle tracking – tracking of meter assets from warehouse to wall and through churn (primary and secondary) and the subsequent management of any exceptions

  • Meter health – Monitoring of meter help and applying health alerts across the meter lifecycle

  • Firmware management – monitors firmware versions across the portfolio and engages suppliers to ensure this is kept up to date

  • Proactive issue resolution – takes responsibility for proactively fixing any asset issues and introduced bulk fixes where applicable when issues arise

  • Delivering ad-hoc analysis through the modelling of complex and large datasets and Converting complex datasets into consumable datapoints

  • Leveraging Centrica insight to build market leading control and governance for the new MAP business

  • Ongoing system management – supports the smooth running of the new Wheatly system being introduced for MAP operations

Competencies

  • Detail orientated & analytical – able to leverage metering expertise and proactively monitor, identify and resolve any issues before they become an issue

  • Experience working with complex and large datasets to draw data-driven conclusions and recommendations

  • Commerciality: Aligned to core vision of new MAP and reiterates the message around the vision and making Centrica more profitable.

  • Strong communicator: Builds strong and sustainable relationships across teams allowing effective collaboration to deliver or quickly resolve issues

  • Prioritisation – able to seamlessly manage multiple conflicting priorities

  • Challenge and support – able to positively challenge other stakeholders where appropriate to ensure the best outcome for the MAP is delivered

  • Able to operate in an autonomous environment

  • Trust – Open, honest and able to build mutual trust with colleagues

Work Experience

  • Solid experience within Supplier / MAP in an industry facing role

  • Expertise in industry and data flows

  • Expertise in asset management processes

  • Experience of operational delivery

  • Analytical skills and mindset

  • Data driven
