About the role

As a Growth Marketing Manager within the Growth Marketing team at carwow, you will work closely with our Growth Marketing Director to develop and execute our growth strategy with a specific focus on driving revenue and customer acquisition via paid social, display and affiliate marketing.

You will be responsible for developing our targeted marketing approaches for these channels and planning and implementing marketing campaigns across UK, Germany and Spain. Whilst paid search has been our main growth channel, we now need to diversify into other channels and have significant opportunities and headroom and this role is pivotal to that channel expansion.

We will be developing an audience strategy to drive the performance of these channels and this role will be heavily involved in its development and will work closely with our dedicated Marketing Analytics team to ensure we are continually optimising our marketing.

The Growth Marketing Manager will work very closely with our Brand Marketing team to ensure you're executing a coordinated and aligned creative approach and are using the channel activity to further amplify our brand.


  • Development of carwow’s paid social strategy - working closely with agency partners to drive channel performance
  • Manage, plan & optimise carwow’s paid social, display and affiliate marketing activity
  • Identify and test new and innovative growth opportunities to deliver on CPA and revenue goals
  • Identify affiliate partnership opportunities - in line with agreed unit economics - to help drive growth
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in Growth Marketing - and seek to innovate
  • Manipulate and analyse large, complex data sets turning them into actionable business insights
  • Develop and run quantitative analysis, reports, and more with the end goal of supporting our marketing efforts
  • Manage performance metrics and budget tracking while ensuring benchmarks are established, lessons are learnt and growth opportunities capitalized
  • Constantly find methods to increase efficiency through automation and tools
  • Familiarity with A/B testing methodologies and execution


  • Growth obsessed and a digital native with experience in developing and running campaigns across digital marketing channels
  • Deep knowledge and hands on experience in managing paid social campaigns across Meta and TikTok. Experience of managing YouTube and BVOD activity would be very welcome
  • An adaptable self-starter who can work in matrixed structures and is used to scale up environments
  • Experience working with large budgets in an online focused company
  • Strong technical skills in data manipulation using SQL (a bonus), Tableau or Excel
  • Experience in pre and post campaign analysis
  • Highly developed analytical and planning skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • A love of thinking outside the box and developing creative & innovative solutions
