About the role

• As Deputy Reviews Editor, you will help the Reviews Editor reach our weekly output targets for our website editorial.
• You will write and update reviews to our house style and optimise all your writing for SEO. You will upload and publish to our CMS and make sure every review is engaging, up-to-date and informative to help consumers make the right car-buying decisions.
• You’ll ensure our car type pages are regularly updated and give the best consumer advice, as well as writing other content including used cars, Instagram reviews, and trim and colour descriptions.
• You will represent carwow at car launches and industry events.
• You will stand in for the Reviews Editor and news desk, as well as helping the content team and wider business where required.

Responsibilities

• Write new reviews, update existing reviews, update car type pages and upload to CMS
• Attend product launches/press events as a carwow representative
• Stand in for Reviews Editor and news desk when necessary

Requirements

• Experience in a car-reviewing role
• A good understanding and experience of the car industry
• Maintaining the highest editorial standards and writing to carwow style, while working under pressure and hitting deadlines
• A keen eye for detail - you’ll help safeguard the quality/accuracy across all carwow content
