Interim Finance Manager – 4 Months FTC

Reporting to: Head of FP&A

Location: Borehamwood, Hertfordshire, WD6 (60% working from home time offered).

First a bit about the role:

As our Interim Finance Manager, you will be the Finance lead to manage the delivery and implementation of migrating our existing Finance ERP system and processes to SAP by Design.

  • Project manage the end-to-end migration to SAP by Design including timelines and facilitating Steer Co and weekly check-in meetings to provide a status update on the project
  • Working closely with the Group Finance System Manager and implementation partner to ensure all technical requirements are met
  • Responsible for determining the scope, mapping out and documenting all existing Finance processes and optimizing them as part of the migration to the new ERP system
  • Work closely with the Finance team to determine appropriate functional and reporting requirements
  • Managing the user acceptance testing and data validation prior to the go-live date
  • Develop and lead the training rollout of the new system to the business
  • Effectively manage all cross-functional stakeholders

And now about you:

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, has the capability to take ownership and responsibility whilst also being adaptable and practical about leading the delivery and implementation of a Finance ERP system. You will have the ability to identify and solve problems, influence others, and have a willingness to dive into and understand the detail of each Finance process.

  • Relevant accounting qualification - Qualified Accountant, ACA or equivalent with at least 5+ years of PQE
  • Experience of delivering a Finance system migration and use of SAP By Design
  • Detailed understanding of transactional and month end Finance processes
  • Strong organisational and project management skills to deliver clear outputs
  • Ability to create effective and credible partnerships by working collaboratively to support and challenge stakeholders
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
