What you’ll be doing
The Operations Team Leader position here at Brit is a newly created opportunity, purely due to growth, and you’ll join us to showcase your existing technical insurance and potential people management abilities (you’ll look after a growing central team of Underwriting Assistants and apprentices) and further develop your Lloyds market knowledge whilst managing the operational activities enabling the team to deliver a high level of service to Brokers and internal stakeholders.
You’ll work closely the team maintaining and monitoring the flow of work between Underwriting teams and service providers to ensure items and issues are addressed in a timely and accurate manner. This will include oversight of all quality control and checking of data entry and facilitating resolution of data quality Issues. You’ll utilise active operations management techniques to plan, monitor and report performance of the service delivery onshore and offshore across new and existing services. Identifying and issues and implementing remedial action including training of new and existing staff.
