What you’ll be doing

You’ll join us as an integral part of Brit’s highly regarded, flexible and forward-thinking technology team in a key role participating in the innovation and delivery of solutions that support Brit’s digital objectives. A very real opportunity to make the role your own and drive forward your ideas, working with product owners, scrum masters and very driven Agile teams to identify and improve tools, systems and platforms that enhance Brit’s ability to create solutions and services for our customers.

In the life of a Software Engineer …

Your strong commercial experience using Python comes into its element here to write code – show it by doing it. You understand how to balance speed, quality and functionality and can easily communicate where the trade-offs are being made and work within, and encouraging a DevOps culture and Continuous Delivery process.

You’ll collaborate with internal teams to improve products and work with the Product team to understand end-user requirements and translate them into an effective technical solution. Providing input into future technology development is one exciting element of the position as well as the relationship building when collaborating with engineering colleagues to refine our best practices and processes.
